Privacy policy

Who we are

Brilliantly Wrong is a marketing firm in Washington, DC, run by Alex Stonehouse. This policy covers brilliantlywrong.com. Questions go to [email protected].

What you give us

When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email, company, what you need help with, and any message you add. The form sends these to our form service, then shows a Calendly calendar so you can book a call. If you book, Calendly collects the details you enter there under its own privacy policy.

If you email us, we keep the email and your address.

What we collect automatically

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets cookies and receives your IP address, browser and device details, and the pages you view. See how Google uses this data, or opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Apollo. We use Apollo's website visitor tracking. It sets cookies and sends your IP address and browsing activity on this site to Apollo, which uses it to identify the company you are visiting from and, for visitors in the United States, may identify you and your business contact details. We use this to understand which businesses are interested in our work and may contact you about it. See Apollo's privacy policy.

How we use it

To reply to you, schedule and prepare for calls, understand how the site is used, identify businesses that may want to work with us, and follow up with them.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most ad and tracker blockers stop Google Analytics and Apollo from loading. The site works without them. This site does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals.

To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email [email protected]. We will also ask Apollo to delete what it collected through this site. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, and we will honor them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
